Dear Joanna,
I can’t thank you enough for all the wonderful shoes! Since they were all adult sizes, we did not save any of them for our back to school backpacks. They did however, go to very happy recipients at Continuing on in Education, one of our member agencies that runs a day school for developmentally challenged adults and Quinte Literacy, an agency teaching one on one and group literacy skills. Both organizations serve clients on exceptionally low incomes. Your contribution meant a lot more than a pair of shoes to those who have so little.
Again, thank you for your kindness in thinking of us!
Sincerely,
Marsha Roadhouse
Executive Director, United Way of Quinte
