Joanna still remembers the years gone by when she was too tall, too thin and did not feel attractive. Today she is tall; confident and is quite secure about her looks – so secure and confident that she has been helping women and men from all walks of life to gain the same level of confidence that she has attained.

She transformed from being an ill at ease schoolteacher, into an international model. As a model travelling to places she only dreamt of, or read about, she consciously used her modelling opportunities to study the behaviour of peoples from different cultures, especially the successful ones. She wanted to know what traits made influential people stand head and shoulders above the crowd. She found that - Intelligence, determination, perseverance, articulation, preparedness and being in the right place at the right time – some people call it luck - were extremely important characteristics.

She soon realized that although all these attributes were essential; they were not enough. Then like a bolt from the blue it hit her – Packaging, she realized was the Key! It also became quite clear that packaging consisted of not only the right image, clothes, makeup, hair, and accessories, but etiquette, courtesy, and a generosity of spirit; mixed with a sense of pride in one’s self, knowing that you are always at your best whenever you set foot out the door, or open your mouth to speak - those were the “invisible threads” that held the package together; or made some people stand head and shoulders above others.

Joanna embraced those principles and has shared them with the hundreds of men, women, youth, beauty queen contestants and politicians with whom she has worked. Joanna’s keynotes help participants embrace the “importance and power of presence.” Her workshops encourage participants to adapt the skills and techniques, which make a difference in their lives and careers.
