The emphasis will be on the benefits of saving for short-term goals and the value of investing to meet long-term goals. Students will enjoy field trips, games, activities and guest speakers, as well as competing in the BOSSBiz Competition, where they team up to create and present financial portfolios to a panel of experts.
The participants will come away equipped with practical life skills enabling them to handle money wisely; along with a Certificate of participation, a copy of The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Money for Teens by Susan Shelly and a one year subscription to Fast Company. |
